چکیده
In an earlier paper we established that every second countable, completely normal spectral space is homeomorphic to the ℓ-spectrum of some Abelian ℓ-group. We extend result ℓ-spectra vector lattices over any countable totally ordered division ring k. Combining those methods with Baro's Normal Triangulation Theorem, obtain following result: TheoremFor formally real field k, spectrum commutative unital k-algebra. The countability assumption on k necessary: there exists a cannot be embedded, as subspace, into either right lattice uncountable directed partially ring, or algebra field. Theorem For

Degree Spectra of Real Closed Fields
Several researchers have recently established that for every Turing degree c, the real closed field of all c-computable real numbers has spectrum {d : d′ ≥ c′′}. We investigate the spectra of real closed fields further, focusing first on subfields of the field R0 of computable real numbers, then on archimedean real closed fields more generally, and finally on nonarchimedean real closed fields. ...
متن کاملAn equivalence functor between local vector lattices and vector lattices
We call a local vector lattice any vector lattice with a distinguished positive strong unit and having exactly one maximal ideal (its radical). We provide a short study of local vector lattices. In this regards, some characterizations of local vector lattices are given. For instance, we prove that a vector lattice with a distinguished strong unit is local if and only if it is clean with non no-...

متن کاملThe uncountable spectra of countable theories
Let T be a complete, first-order theory in a finite or countable language having infinite models. Let I(T, κ) be the number of isomorphism types of models of T of cardinality κ. We denote by μ (respectively μ̂) the number of cardinals (respectively infinite cardinals) less than or equal to κ. Theorem I(T, κ), as a function of κ > א0, is the minimum of 2 κ and one of the following functions: 1. 2...
متن کاملOn Quantales and Spectra of C*-Algebras
We study functorial properties of the quantale spectrum MaxA of an arbitrary unital C*-algebra A. In particular we show that the spatialization of MaxA with respect to one of the notions of spatiality in the literature yields the locale of closed ideals of A when A is commutative. We study under general conditions functors with this property, in addition requiring that inductive limits be prese...
